Remember the height of the wedge sneaker? Or the days of minimalist norm core? 2015 served some serious street style game, much of which we’ll continue to cop in the New Year ahead. We saw sartorial favorites Gilda Ambrosio and Pernille Teisbaek trade in the grand head-to-toe runway looks of their predecessors for more casual styles. Models were also very much on duty while off the catwalk. Besties Binx Walton and Lexi Boiling stuck to their skater staples, which, thanks to newcomers like Vetements and Y Projects, feel very of the moment.

Ahead, we tracked down our 19 favorite tricks to wear now and well through the New Year. Click through and tell us your favorite trend in the comments below!

Men’s Tees & Throwback Aviators
When Kanye West sent out the invitations for his Yeezy Season 2 collection, most discarded the three-times oversized camouflage shirt — but not the fearless Gilda Ambrosio. The ill-fitted shirt becomes an instant success paired with fitted flares and old school gradient aviator sunglasses.

Unexpected Layers
Thank you Pernille for wearing something so easily achievable by, well, just about anyone. Layer a silk camisole in the color of your choice — go big or go home, we like to say — over a neutral turtleneck, and voila!

Chic Sweats
While designers from Chloé to Nicole Miller sent track suits down the runway for 2015, girls like Lexi Boiling make a case for them off the runway. If this doesn’t say sweats are safe outside of the gym, we’re not sure what does.

The Bomber Jacket and Skinny Scarf
Our trusty friend from seasons past, the silk bomber jacket isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future. Update this now style staple with an unexpected ’70s inspired skinny neck scarf like Soo Joo Park.

The Bandana
This season, bandanas got a major style upgrade thanks to the likes of Leandra Medine. Follow her lead in tying a kerchief to create a modern neckpiece, perfect with any ensemble.
